A journal about history, literature, music, ecology, and politics of societal change in Central Oregon, where the desert meets the mountains.
We will also maintain an historical archive for left and labor history in the area.
The public side of our space is not yet fully online, but if you are from Central Oregon and agree with our goals, then we would love to have you as part of our community.
Dark Forest Operating System allows us a space free from corporate algorithms with a private back end where we can discuss, plan and organize. It is a bit like Discord meets Substack. It still doesn't have the design tools we would like to have, but it is advancing rapidly. We look forward to what it will become.
